I tried to put mine on this weekend and I need to use about 3-5mm spacer to get it to clear the intake mainifold. Looks like it time to break out the welder.

just a couple of things to add.
that bar may be made for the soarer vice the SC.........different manifold dimensions.
another thing that may work is when applying the bar jack the car up when installing.
this may give you the space you need as the suspension towers will bow. then torque it down in a suspended state only lowering after. See if that works.......

I installed while on a lift. Not even close. I see what your saying about the bar flex, I'm assuming thats what your getting at. I may go for the soarer thing though.

Only reason why it would fit a Soarer over a SC is because of the 1JZ's intake manifold. Otherwise its the same exact car....for the most part. If you have the 1UZ or 2JZGE then it might not offer any greater chances of fitting. Not too sure that it needs a tower bar either. It seems to be pretty stiff up front from the factory

I don't know about the other guys but I want one for show more than go. It looks cool. That's all....that's all there needs to be too.

You're right though, I think the car is pretty stiff already.
