SC300 fuse box

ok, stupid question. The owners manual indicates that the fuse box is on the driver's side kick panel. Where the heck is that? I looked in that area and see nothing but carpeting on the side. Usually, the fuse box is in a location that is pretty easy to locate and access. Is this the case for our SCs? Was I just too tired and aggravated when I looked last night?
Can someone pls lead me to the location? I'm embarrassed......

OK baby boy....here's the skinny,
In that same area where you saw the carpet on the driver kick panel....well you need to pull the carpet back from the trim.
After this, you will see the fuse panel underneath that. Be sure not to pull with force on anything, as you don't want to unintentially break any retaining clips.
