I have to be honest. At first I thought the same thing about the emblem being on the air bag as many here, but then I remembered my 04 RX330 has a similar set up. Here is a picture I got off ebay showing the thin plastic L emblem on the airbag cover. I wonder if the airbags depoly in a similar way? Toyota/Lexus must feel it is okay if the use it on their newer cars.

The reason I haven't upgraded my stereo yet:
I still haven't seen a great match for the plastic area around the aftermarket stereos. The stock radio is integrated into the same semi-shiny black plastic as the climate control and center console. I think the stock setup looks very clean, and I'd be impressed if someone could mimic that look.

Still waiting. I emailed the guy about a week ago and said "Hey, I returned this screen a month ago, what gives?" and he replied that he was "travelling" and that he'd mail it in two weeks when he got back. I'm not holding my breath...

OLT - I need your "This thread is worthless without pics" smilies right now!!

Soarer479 - look forward to seeing what you have done with it. I am still trying to find a way to flush mount an XM radio unit into the gap.

Peace,

Jonny
