I have an Alpine TME-M790 monitor and DVA-7996 DVD receiver on order. it should be pretty sweet if I can get someone to do it for me since I never have time. I'll post pics soon.

 

Heres mine during the test fitting phases. Lost all my current pics when my computer took a dump and crashed. Anyway, its just a basic pioneer premier DEH-750. Trim piece below is just a few pieces of wood wrapped in leather. Since the time of the picture, i have shortened the shifter, recentered the griffen and removed the backing. HVAC even more dried out now too. Anyway, heres a pic..

 

those two items should be cake to install. only 3-4 wires for the dva 7996 and the dvd thing is an extra 3 wires.

I love the set up and the steering wheel(dealers told me that wasn't possible to do but they're all liars anyway)..but those sandals and checkered shorts put a hurting on my vision man! =)

if an airbag came out wouldn't the part with the "L" flip up and the air bag deplying under it?

What kind of screen is that Octane? It just looks so oem.

 

Unfortunately, I dont have the detailed specs on the screen. I bought it from another CL member who originally bought it off ebay. Yeh, I laugh everytime someone sits in the car and says "I've never seen another SC with that factory option."

Anyone in the FL area can take a first-hand look at the Oct 30 meet. See you there! I'll be wearing my plaid shorts and flip flops for total effect!
