Yeah how was he going 160mph and he said he could have gone more, I thought the 400's topped out at around 150.

 

2 cases he took the governor off the vehicle or maybe the odometer was reading 160 but he was actually going slower...

yes from what i have read here we have one....and there are a few people who have taken them off....and im sure that the turbo people have...

i don't know about the governor thing but i'm thinking maybe they didn't reallie implement it til obd2?
here's a pic of a 91LS bone stock, no changes to anything on a max speed on a dyno, of course it won't have the wind resistance etc etc variables but as you can see... it can go past 150mph
