Default transmisiion vibration?

Every now and them when I'm traveling uphill at about 35mph and 1600 rpm the tansmission will make a quivering and shaking motion for about 1 second and then stop.
Trouble is that this only happens once in a while.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

I dont know if this is related since I dont know what it is...BUT when I'm at idle when I first start the car after it has been sitting a while, I get a kinda shaking or "surging" feeling. It seems like it is coming from the driveshaft and back.

Try changing your tranny mount. Something similiar happened to me and after changing the tranny mount, the vibration went away. If your car has alot of mileage on it, it'll definitely be a good idea to change your tranny mount and motor mounts. I haven't change my motor mount yet though.

It's your torque converter shuddering as it unlocks. Try searching, I know I posted and may have even started a thread like this before. I'm not if there was ever any outcome though, besides try changing your tranny fluid.

Default Tranny Fix

I will change the fluid. I've got 78K miles but it was changed at about 30K about 7 years ago.
Has anyone changed the mounts?
What am I in for?
Thanks.

7 years ago? You should still get the tranny fluid changed. Also, there was a pretty good write up a week or so ago about changing the tranny mount in the SC. Do a search for it. Sounded pretty easy.
