Some times when I take my foot of the gas it feels like the drive shaft is or the car is jerking like something is loose within the axil or drive shaft. Any ideas what could be doing this.

 

well... first thing to check is over drive. make sure the overdrive isn't engaged.

 

Check your tranny mount. My car did the same thing when you took your foot off the gas at high speeds and it also had an annoying vibration from 30-40mph like if you were going over a rough street w/ ripples. I just got my tranny mount changed two days ago and the vibration and jerking at high speed went away. If you have a high milage sc and have not change the tranny mount then it'll be a good idea. It made a huge difference in my car.
