Same here. If anyone knows of someplace willing to re-cover or even add wood accents to the pre-98 auto shifter, please post. Maybe the company that furnishes those wood steering wheels for group members?

Pics of the steering wheel?

Also your choices are: Levoc , or stock . Should have got a 5-speed...

I agree with the shift **** thing, but don't take the leather off of the steering wheel! The Rubber under mine was blue!

Hey cgbaby where did you get the wood steering wheel, and the momo shifter and e brake? How much did it cost? Did the shifter fit on nicely or did you have to do a lil work on it? Does it have an overdrive button? Thanks

You had to relocate the o/d switch. Also how do you remove the key? Normally the shift **** button needs to be released in order to remove the key out of the ignition.

O/D switch was relocated inside the center arm rest. There are a couple of switches/sensors under there where the shifter is. One is for when you hit your brakes, you'll be able to shift from "P". Another is for when you go back to "P", it will let you release your keys. There's quite a bit of work involved but it's really just mechanical. I just modified what we have there now, so that I don't have to push a button (from original shifter) to get out of "P". I installed a servo so that when I hit my brakes, it pushes this lever down to release it from "P". Then it's only a matter of installing the shifter **** from Momo. The only modifications from original is that I disconnected the switch/sensor for when I go back to "P", I can take out my keys.

That sounds like a lot of work just to fit a new shifter, think I'll leave mine or get the LEVOC.

Does look great though
