i just recently installed the HKS hipermax... and noticed clanking noises and sounds when i hit bumps and stuff... sounds like something's loose.... i'm pretty certain i tightened everything when i did the install...
it doesn't make this noise during a smooth compression just when there's potholes or whatever that would cause the car to jolt.
previous experience tells me it's just my pillowball mounts but i want to make sure

okay so your running the hipermaxes with the pillowball mounts also.... and your's make no noises what so ever?!?!?
if that's true.... then the good news is that i can make it go away... the bad news is now i have to back under there and figure out what may be loose.
i have a feelin its the endlink on the swaybars... and now that i think about it... only my rears make noise

yea... now that i really think about it... the same noises came from my MR2... and it turned out to be the endlinks...
endlinks on the SC were SUPER HARD to break loose when i was installing the coilovers
looks like i'mma be under there this weekend

They may have been messed up before but the suspension was settled. Once you put on new components, it strengthened that aspect, while the rest were still old. You know what they say about the weak link in a chain...it's the first to break. I know my bushings started making noise after doing springs and struts.
