Well, my rear u-joint started to make some noise so I thougt today I would call the local lexus dealer and get one ordered and throw it on. Well they said that it is all one peice that includes the center bearings and some other stuff. He said it was $700. I find that hard to beleive that they don't sell just the u-joint(s). Has anyone else ran into this problem and if so what did you do?

Default lexus shops

I think it is a bunch of crap to. As far as the guy working in the shop at the lexus dealerships they seem to be very knowodgeable, but the guys behind the counter SUCK. I don't think they have worked on a car in there life. They seem to always be relying on there computer for everything. I don't know, but it is getting old. I guess I will just take it off and go to a parts house and see if they can match it up with one.
