Pulling into work tonight my car started to steam a bit from under the hood... It started just as I was parking, so luckily it didn't get hot or anything, but there is definately a coolant leak from somewhere up front and it was sprayed all over everything.
I guess I will check it out in the morning, and hopefully it is just a hose I can go to Lexus and get and put on in the employee parking garage, because getting a tow truck in there isn't going to happen!
Shoulda bought mine! messing with you man. Sucks to hear it, but hopefully it's something pretty minor, and not a cracked radiator. At least it happened now, and not under boost at 170 mph. Boost is coming soon...right Ethan?
I know how you feel E...I replaced my radiator and all hoses three weeks ago. Its good to have other cars to drive when you got work to do....( I had the hardest time sourcing some of the parts - lower hose, radiator...all had to be ordered...guess that tells you they are low failure items)
Good luck on that ( at least its bulletproof and you are not busted on boost as mentioned above)

Maybe the engine is just saying it wants forced induction sooner then planed
Actually the boost got pushed back to December, because my TV decided to crap out last week and I had to bump the TV up on the priority list. That and I found out I need to repair a few windows at my house that have wood rot on the bases of them.
Looking at it this morning it was difficult to locate the source of the leak as the fan had blown it all over everything. I am going to have it towed Fri morning when I get off work and hopefully I will know what it is this weekend.
I had the same problem with my car. Check between the fan shroud and the radiator. My radiator had a hairline crack in it. I bet money that is your problem.

Honestly, while looking at in the garage there was a small spot on the top of the radiator between teh fan shroud that seemed to be a bit more soaked than other spots (i.e. everywhere else the coolant had dried and this one spot was actually wet). It was difficult to tell just by looking at it though. I am trying to decide where to have it towed... Back home, to the lexus dealer (where I will more than likely be ripped off on the repair), or ???
Give the radiator top tank a check, this is a common failure problem on Soarers (yes I said Soarers, but should apply to SC I'm guessing). Hold on, I'll take some photos of which parts got soaked in coolant .
