I think what it boils down to is supply and demand. In Florida or California there's lots of sun, lots of cars, and lots of tint shops competing to keep all that sun out of all those cars.
Now in Michigan I've heard $200 at Ziebart, and $180 through a friend of a friend's shop.

it all depends on where you live, if you live in a sunny state, there are alot of tinting places so their prices are going to be competitive, here in Seattle, the cheapest I found was 200.00. I could count how many tinting businesses here!!

but they are going to vote on it in march of 2005 so in the mean time im getting 5% all around and 50% on the winsheild all for $125.
