Well, nothing special.... we've all seen it done before, but this is my first mod to the car and I wanted to share my success. thanks to you guys and your help!
Wired up my 92 corner lamps to stay on like fogs....and took the stock 1156 bulbs and painted them yellow. Nothing compared to oem is300 or gs fogs but I think it turned out well. Comments appreciated.
How long did the project run you? I want to do this mod to my car but like most other things I'm impatient....especially after learning how much of a PITA it is to get to the bulbs.
I think it would differ depending on each person's ability , but I was able to finished in 1.5 hours along with the help of another friend, that has experience in wiring.

well if they do, I can also get yellow bulbs, not amber if it happens
but those bulbs get HOT so I would expect to replace them either because the paint burns off or the bulbs go
Nice!! I plan to do the same thing somewhere in the near future. I don't like it how the corner light is used as a signal light. I don't know what toyota was thinking at the time.

looks sweet!
Yea i found some yellow bulbs and considered buying, But a friend had this spray paint lying around. When I painted the bulb, it was yellow, but a nice clear yellow, so i could see inside the bulbs still! It can be used on valve covers so i though maybe it could handle the heat from the bulb. So i'm giving it a try and we'll see what happens. So far so good....
