HKS Cams
I have been doing alittle reading on these cams and have a couple questions. There are three types the 256,265,272. I think I got them right? Both intake and exhaust are avalible but I havn't found any data on the rpm ranges other than the 272 isn't a good street cam due to the lack of vaccum.
Anyone have any good links with some info on them? I checked through one of the supra forums but didn't come up with much. Possibly from lack of effort
Any other brands, successes or disappointments?
I personally would like to see a operation range from 4500-7500 rpms. From what I have seen of dynos a mild cam may get this with the GTE, and appropreate turbo, fuel, timing, yadayadayada. I wouldn't be looking for huge number, lets say ~550 RWHP.
This is along way out but I like to get my research done in advance so I can just go on a huge shopping venture, oh god I sound like a woman.

if you are only looking for around 550hp then i would just get the 262's and get a mid sized turbo for a balance of spool along with power. i would search for a turbo with the characteristics you want along with keeping the boost down so you can run pump gas

Here's another SC300 owner who installed aftermarket cams...
