Default SC400 vs SC300 5-speed

im looking to sell my car and get a sc300 5-speed. right now i have a 94 sc400, and im looking at getting this 96 black/black sc300 5-spd. im supposed to look at it in a couple of days. i was just wondering what you guys think. First off, which is faster? My sc400 drives like a dream, do the sc300 5spd's drive as great. Which one would you guys rather have? Thanks in advance.

Stock for stock, the SC4 is a tad faster than the SC3 5 speed.

But as you know, the SC3 can be easily tuned to outrun a stock SC4 if you know what you're doing.

Since I am happy with my SC4's performance, I would rather have a SC4 as my daily driver. But of course, that's just me.

driven around town and not like your trying to brake the car the 400 is faster. With very few mods the 300 is quicker. With more expensive mods (aka Turbo kit) the 300 will destroy the 400. All 400's can do is wait for a supercharger kit to be finished.

I prefer the sc400. The sc300 5spd are pretty rare so it'll be a really nice car. I think the only downfall on the sc400 is that it didn't come in manual. But black on black is a really nice combination, but really sucks for the hot summers. For me, I prefer the sc400!!!

I remember seeing a pic of a 300 with 430 wheels on it in the gallery. I wonder if that's the same car for sale.

I love my 5MT but lately I've been thinking about a 2000 SC400.

Well, you could always convert your SC400 into a 5 speed manual...

I wonder how they got around the ECU that everyone fears I thought from all the reading that the ECU controls the engine and the tranny, so problems arrived if you put a manual in because the engine doesnt know when to shift? Someone correct me if I am wrong?
