Default Cheapest Exhaust!!!

Im looking for an Exhuast system for my sc400 1993. Im looking more for the sound then performance. Where can I get a nice sounding yet cheap exhuast? I guess mufflers might work better than catback.... but if catback sounds a lot better ill get that. Thanks

two universal mufflers welded on to where the stock units are welded on, then remove resonators

cheapest for sound? unbolt the mufflers, or if you're feeling very daring (and have tylenol ready), unbolt everything after the cat.

there is a thread that i put up with my exhaust setup. I know it's not exactly borla but it sounds nice and it bumped my car up from 178rwhp and 210rwtq to 199rwhp and 220rwqt. The whole thing cost me less than $500.

do a search and you should be able to find if. Of course you can change any one of those components... like the muffler to a can type for more aggressive sound.

good luck.

I just had a local shop connect the front downpipes to the dual pipes in back, eliminated the center resonator, added a crossover pipe , pretty simple, and it cost $60.
Sounds nice too, about like a mustang really.

Yeah the stock exhaust is pretty crappy. It's not the muffler itself as much as it is the piping (starting at the headers).
