Question Sc4 1uzfe

Anyone know if this is an interference engine? Wanted to be sure so I can stress the importance of changing the timing belt

Thanks in advance.

I'd still do the timing belt though... what's the milage on your SC? On my Soarer I changed my timing belt at 114000kms, but a friend of mine told me belts can last up to about 140000kms, still, better to do it to be safe.

since you look like you're knew here also while you're in there change the water pump, hydraulic tensioners and everything else associated with the belt. Didn't want to assume anything in case I could save you some headache later on.

Thanks.

I am still stressing the importance of changing. It's way past due, friend didn't know it was due. Good thing it's not an interference engine. Of course all that other good stuff down there will get changed too while everything is open.
