has anyone with an aftermarket headunit ever thought about installing a push start button where the oem power/volume control **** use to be???? actually, has anyone ever done it. pics???
Since push start buttons actually make you take longer to start the car since one motion is now two, how about making that volume **** a remote bass control?
For example, if you have a JL Audio amp, you can use this to remotely control your bass. Should retro nicely in the stock volume **** location:

I still like the push button start option. I know it is only a gimmick but I like it. I had a friend in Australia with a skyline that was a pushbutton start ( not factory ) and it was cool. A bit ricey but not too bad. Plus I allready have a space for my amp controls where my old cup holder used to be.
so how about those links? i like the idea of a push button start, and i've already replaced the headunit so i'm ready to rock. oh also, i can control EVERYTHING on my stereo through the headunit; so forget amp control *****, lets do some racing sh=t!
well anyone that reads this: i'm still interested in the push button start. yes i probably could figure it out on my own, but i would greatly appreciate help from whoever can. please reply or private message me. thanks in advance.
