I dont know if this is the proper forum, but I wanted to let you guys know that my 95 Pearl White / Tan SC300 was stolen last night in Studio City CA. It looked like a pro job (clean no signs of breakage to a locked car).
I suspect the car is being parted out. If you are suspicious about parts from a 95 SC, please pm me. I'll do my best to help.
Damn dude, really sorry to hear that happen (please tell me you had full coverage). I feel you....my civic was stolen 3 times in 1 year (only had liability). I'm always lookin in the classifieds & ebay, so if i see anything I'll be sure to let you know.
Anything specific we should look out for?

wow, thats ashamed man. sorry to hear. i live in l.a. also so ill look up if any
parts are being advertised. try looking at recycler.com. thy might try to post some parts
there as well.
I cant figure out how they defeated the alarm/locking mechanism and got the car started so quickly.
It wasn't towed as my wife's car was parked right behind me.
The car is missing the right gold exhaust tip and has '95 BBS Chrome 16's on it. Pretty rare wheels. I have the wheel wrench. Whoever tries to take those wheels off is going to have a hard time. Needs a special wrench and metric allen wrenches to remove.

srg, man damn....I know how you feel, literally, I was carjacked at gunpoint a few years ago. Sorry this happened to you, I'm sure all us SoCal CL guys will be keeping an eye out, I KNOW I will because I don't see hella white SC's motoring around town, especially ones with missing exhaust tips, even though I highly doubt the car is being driven around on the streets by the thieves. As for your wheels, don't be so sure they'll have a hard time getting them off unfortunately, if they had the tools to steal the car that cleanly then they'll be able to get the wheels off quite easily if they so choose. Please tell us that insurance is covering this? In my case they found my car (not the SC, but my gangstered out Pontiac) but the engine was screwed up because they floored it all the damn way from LA to San Dimas until the engine overheated, stole the stereo, etc. and abandoned it in an alley (my poor baby!). They caught the dude and I had to go to court and point at him and say to the judge "he's the one who told me to get out of the car and shot at me twice when I did"...(learn to shoot idiot) now he's somebody's byatch in the slammer, let's hope your thief gets the same justice...
