if it's FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) i mite be sold on this kit, that and in my opinion looks very similar to the vertex kit. think it's a knock off? opinions?

What's the skinny on ImportFan.com? I've heard somepeople bought a CF hood from them, but how are they as a company? Are they reliable or not so much?

daizenlex

in the other thread you said urs was a VIS, this isn't a VIS.... posted this thread hoping to find out how this bodykit holds up to near dailydriving... i kno that when i parallel park, ppl tend to reverse into me since my front license plate is bented.. so i just wanna make sure it can take a lil tap now and then and not have me goin back to the bodyshop. i also know that the JIC can take a lickin and keep on tickin.. as i read in a thread by manaray that he scratched many times thinkin it would crack but it didn't. so i guess no one reallie knows much about this kit since i've only seen ppl gettin kits such as the JIC, Vertex, Erebuni, etc etc... no finds on this kit.

i got hte gtp elite front. its pretty thick and unlike the kits they make for hondas and what not. mine so far has stood up to the abusive daily driving i like to do. plus, people bumped me a few time, and i did likewise(dont drink and drive), no cracks yet.

fitment was better then what i expected. i basically had to just place the support brackets where they needed to be, and the whole thing bolted right in. you just have to adjust the high beams a little though. other then that, fitment was great. the surface needs to be sanded down , scratches from handling i guess?? but yeah, no complaints.

I don't like it but that's just me...it looks "off" like it's not really meant for the SC. Just my opinion.

Kit looks ok but there is always the question of quality. This is off topic where can i find a lip to fit 97 and up front bumper and how much does it cost?

do you guys not like the kit because it is gtp or because of the styling? if its because of the styling then do you not also like the vertex kit? IMO they look exactly the same.

The full vertex kit is the best looking kit for the sc imho. All kits are going to take some work to get to fit correct. I would go for it. If you get it post results

i say go for it....they got a 100% satisfaction thing. my advice is order it through a local dealer. you might get it for cheaper then their site price. thats what i did, i think i saved a hundred bucks. plus if it doesnt fit, you just complain with the dealer and they will send it back for you, so that'll save u shippin costs. ;]
