The SC400 is in a different class though. RWD V8 nuff said. Your friends will think it's pimp. As reliable as it is, when you need to do repairs or maintenance parts are more expensive.

That Max looks pretty clean, I give it that. As much money as he spent on it. Its still a Maxima.
And if thats the route you wanna take, I dont think any comment from any one on this site gonna help you change your mind.

At 16, I think insurance rates would be my biggest concern. I do agree that maintenance parts for lexus are more expensive and theres not many quality aftermarket parts.

I rented a 2000 Maxima when it came out. I thought the car was quick but very floaty on the highway.
Didnt compare to a 10 year old SC.
