Default SC300 exact engine as 2JZ...?

Is the SC300 the exact same engine as the 2JZ, or just similar because they are both I6? Summer is coming up, as well as graduation, and I'm looking for a play car. Would I be able to use Supra parts on the SC300 engine, and would it handle forced induction just as well as the 2JZ, or should I be looking at doing a 2JZ swap for that? I also want the six speed transmission, so I'm looking for advice.

They come with a 2JZ. The Supra NA and SC300 had a 2JZ-GE, the Supra TT had a 2JZ-GTE. You can turbo the GE or swap in a GTE, both will work with the 6spd, same pattern. Past that, better to use the search engine.

Please do a search. This is a very basic question that you need to understand the basics of your car.

Go to www.intellexual.net and use the search. You will find MANY exciting threads about the engine. If it is not working, use the wild cards (i.e. 2jz***)

Thanks Jon
