Looking to buy SC300

I ran across a 92 sc300 manual with 160k for $4k. I don't know much about these cars and I'm wondering what I should look for when going to look at it. I've heard these cars will last well over 200k if maintained properly. I drive 80 or day miles/day so I'ld need something reliable for a long time. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Gonna pick it up tomorrow...

As we all know, Lexus quality is the best there is...With proper maintenance and care, a Lexus can go 300k +...

There has been lots of threads on this, you should do a search...

Actually, this car is sold to me. =) One Hot SC400 and I are going to Michigan tonight to pick it up. Its going to be a long trip. I'll post pics up later when we drive it back to NYC. Road Trip

Oh yea, Sari, welcome to CL. Lexus quality is a well deserved reputation. When treated well, these cars will not let you down. I recommend that before buying, you have the car checked out by a qualified tech. Good luck!
