Some people have bolted the stock Supra TT seats in their SC's. The brackets for the aftermarket TT seats will probably fit.

Also please let us know about head room.

The supra tt seats gained me about an inch and I need every bit when I'm wearing a helmet.

Depends also on which Recaro you're using. If it's like SRD type or one of their fixed back types it makes a difference(bottom mount or side mount).

Wouldn't worry about your height too much if you're using regular aftermarket seat adapters to aftermarket rails, it will set the seat up pretty high anyway.
The tall guys may want to use custom brackets made to some low height sliders to keep the seat as low down as possible...

Do you think that using aftermarket seat rails as well as aftermarket seats will raise the seat up past stock height?

When I looked at it it seemed that must be the case.

I had the Recaro rep look and he didn't see how slidable rails could be as low as stock.

If you use fixed brackets like for real racing seats (non-reclinable) they might be able to go as low.

I heard that JDM TRD seats are as low as the Supra seats and also have rails for the supra, so they should work.

I'm a fat ***'ed haole with a 40" waist and I'm not fitting in any JDM seat. If I go after market it looks like I'll be going Corbeau extra wide. It all depends upon whether or not they can give me the head room I need.
