Default Supra tt front brake upgrade with pics

Here's the moment you've all been waiting for- pics of my new tt brakes.

Price breakdown:
OEM pads- $42.00
Shim kit- $12.60
Fitting kit- $9.40
Front calipers- $225 x2
Cross Drilled and Slotted rotors- $200

Total= $714

All parts from Carson Toyota except for the rotors which are from irotors.com
I am happy with everything so far, but the ship time from irotors was terrible. I ordered on a tuesday and didn't get them until the next thursday (9 days!).. And that was with paying extra for 3 day select shipping. For some reason, it takes them 4 days to handle and get them shipped out

The whole job took about 4 hours for me. This was the second time doing brakes for me, first time alone. I've never had to mess with the calipers before either, and what took half the time was figuring out how the little pieces fit together, namely these stupid pad spacers (the manual doesn't have very clear pics). If I had to do it again, I could cut the time by more than half.

Four anti-squeal shims which fit between the pads and caliper pistons, tow anti-rattle springs that go on top of the whole deal, and four pad spacers.

Nice setup. Although, I think you should have painted the calipers to get rid of the Supra. It was especially easy since you already had the calipers uninstalled. Still if you like it, then cool.

Lookin good! Did you bleed the lines yourself?

I like having the Supra word on the calipers also, gives the car a nice look to it. Makes people confused whether you have a Supra or a SC, I've had many people just stare at the brakes with a puzzled look on their face.

Tim - Awesome man! I love the way they say Supra on them, I dont know why anyone would want to paint them, I just hope they will fit on my car... I would like a pair, but I seriously wonder if they will fit.

I dont have any idea how you fit the supra calipers on there with the stock 15" wheels... I was informed that the minimum wheel size required for this was 17", but did you keep the stock rotor size?

By the way, the supra logo looks absolutely awesome and if I were to get supra brakes put on (all 4 corners) then having the supra logo on my car would account for at least 1/2 the reason of doing it!
