Question curious about interiors/upgrades

interested in a updated interior for a 1993 sc300 i just got, the interiors of the 1998-2000 models are great, so i was interested in seeing comparison pics, and ideas on changing the wood, shifter ****, steering wheel (which i would want to do with american stitching prob), or anything else in mind. thanks

Welcome to the SC family man. There is no replacement for the wood trim. No covers made for it or anything. Emerald was going to make CF replacements but it never happened.

Is yours an auto of stick? If it's auto there is no placement for the auto shift ****. There are a couple auto shifters w/orverdrive buttons but they don't fit properly.

AS can do your steering wheel. You can also do an aftermarket wheel if you get the Supra hub adapter. mounts right in.

I haven't checked out the Celica auto **** yet. Is the base rectangle like the SC's? The universal ones have a round bottom and don't match well with the rectangle base on the SC. They don't mount solid either and need to be retightened every couple days.

I posted about the celica shifter a long time ago since they seemed to be exchangeable but never got a 'victim' to try it out.. someone posted something about getting one and trying it out but never heard of it and this was over a year ago..

According to TurboSC, there is no way to remove the wood trim on the 93+ year SC because of the passenger side air bag. 92 SC's you can, it just takes a while.

What's wrong with your wood trim? The trim was pretty much the same year to year. I don't believe there's any difference. Unless it's damaged, I'd just leave it be.
