Talking New Plugs :)

Changed my plugs and claened the throttle body today. Plugs were changed I think 30000 miles or so ago but looked like they could use a change ( not really that bad though ) cleaned the TB, this was also replaced 30000 miles ago and therefore was pretty clean. I also have noticed some differences in the TB from different SC4's in the pics around here. Someone said that we only have 1 butterfly unlike the LS's but mine has 2 butterfly valves but only one seems to be functional the other wide open, it does however have some sort of TPS on it though, wierd.
Oh yeah that is the most complex throttle body I have seen in a while, and on a 92 I was impressed

Anyway the car is a little more responsive and I am pretty happy with the job I did.

The wide-open butterfly is hooked up to the traction control system.

I agree with djl, the wide-open butterfly is part of the traction control system.
