De-carbing the throttle body and new plugs
Have you guys done it yet? I don't see any record of it in my service history. Not even with the major 90k service. I did it on my old 400 at about 75k and she was notably smother on acceleration. Any difference with the 430 vs 400 as far as if they collect less carbon? I was thinking about do this and the plugs even though I am about 15k early on the plugs. The other day I did clean my MAF as well. Very easy to do.
105K miles on spark plugs is enough in my opinion. I will probably go Denso oem but if anyone else would like to comment on their choice I am all ears. Best plugs for the 430?

I cleaned my throttle body when I did my 90k service at around 100k miles. The throttle body wasnt that dirty honestly, usual for car with 100k miles, nothing out of the ordinary. I cleaned it regardless. I also cleaned the MAF and new air filter along with plugs. My car was slightly smoother, since my car was already smooth in the first place. I also noticed better acceleration and mpg. Regarding the brand for plugs, Either Denso or NGK Iridium plugs are your best bet. I believe OEM Toyota uses both.

You could seafoam the vehicle to help eliminate some carbon. I'd just remove the intake and look/feel in the throttle body housing and if you get substantial carbon then clean it. If not just rock it out until it needs it.
