I used to have them on my car. It depends on what other suspension mods you have. If you are running stock 16s, the ride quality is still pretty good and it will handle great, especially around corners. If you are running 18s and above, the ride will be noticeably harsher. On nice straight roads, you will barely feel the difference in terms of ride quality. Hit a few bumps or uneven road conditions and be prepared to get bounced around a bit. Compound the with stiffer shocks/springs or coilovers and well ...

Don't get me wrong, the handling will be great. Plus everyone's tolerances are different so you may like the road feedback that this setup will give you.

Hey nuocmam122,

I just noticed that you are posting in the SC forum so I assume you have an SC. For some reason I assumed you have a GS. Not sure where I got that from. As I read new posts across all forums, I don't go into one forum at a time. Since I assumed you had a GS, I did not even look at which forum I was in. My response was based on the TRD sways for my GS. Sorry about that.

That said, here are some specs from DoubleWhoosh in another thread about the Daizen sways:

Supra tt stock bars are around a 25% increase in stiffness

Supra TRD bars are around 56% increase

These are around 90%

There were some TRD HD bars for a short time for the Supra, but I believe those are discontinued. I think those were something along the lines of these bars as far as stiffness.

Remember that these are made for the SC platform, all of the others are retrofitted Supra parts.

If I'm not mistaken there are no other bars on the market for the SC except for these.
With these numbers, I would think the Daizens would give you the best handling in terms of cornering. Sorry about the confusion earlier. I would delete my post but you already read it and your response then would make no sense if I deleted it.

i just got the front and rear trd sway bars for my 98 sc400 and the ride is awesome...you deff. feel the difference. The car feels even better than a bmw in handeling that is. I haven't had much time to actually drive it in high speeds in corners. The mechanic i gave the parts to said when he removed the sub frame mounts to replace them with the supra's the diff came out so he had to hold that while putting them in. He said it wasnt a problem but to all those who are planning to do this to a sc400 this will happen. The rear is clunking but i guess he didn't tighten it enough? The only bad thing to this install is i feel the bumps on the road a bit more...im currently riding on the stock 16's

I thought the factory SC and Supra fronts were the same and the TRD from the Supra was the only one considered an upgrade, OEM wise?

He's probably talking about the rear subframe mounts. Those are the ones that are different.
