Can't help you with the wheel, but as for Emerald, I saw her on here within the last week. I ordered one of the filler panels last Aug, and I got it no problem. It's a very good product, fits the gap a single din HU leaves in our cars. Maybe someone else has better info on Em than I. As for the product, if you can get it, it's worth it, IMO.

I like the Supra wheel but for something more recent I like the TRD and just possibly, a newer Lexus 3 spoke can be adapted. Maybe an RX300, but it would take some work for the airbags, cruise control etc. Just a thought.

Here's a thread on the TRD wheel:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ight=TRD+wheel

The main problem with Lexus wheels is with the airbags. The newer ones (2001+) are 2 stage while the ones in the SC are 1 stage. The connectors aren't the same so some mods would have to be done if you wanted to retrofit a Lexus steering wheel. Manaray has put a 98-00 GS wheel on and it worked fine save for the cruise control. You could get a Jspec soarer airbag cover to be different but that'll take some searching around. There are also momo replacements etc but they don't all have an airbag.

Sorry, not sure about the IS wheels but I think its the same problem as with the other wheels, so a 2001+ model wouldn't work.

Hope this helps.

James

Default get a boss kit and put whatever wheel you want.

Get a boss kit and fit whatever wheel you want...

I picked up a Soarer Boss Kit (same as supra, but you need a supra one with a fat pipe or it hits the connector) for AUS$80 (doesnt include cruise control attachment... not that I use it anyway, but it shouldnt be hard to wire one up).

Once you get a Boss kit, you can get any wheel you want. Mine is a pre 93, so didnt come with an airbag anyway.
