hey i jus ordered a pair of magnaflow mufflers and i was wondering wut i shuould do next. i dont have the money to get a full cat back so i was thinking of either gettin custom pipings or removing the rear resonators? any suggestions?

do what he said, oh hey i got those mufflers too, they take about 6 months before the sound stays the same. i love them!

some one should post a sound clip of them, or atleast a pic of them on your car, ive never heard or even seen magnaflow, ive only heard of it.

i dont go under my car a lot so any resonator location underbody pics would be greatly appreciated.

The "third resonator" you speak of is a catalytic convertor. I've cut into it and it has the honeycomb catalyst inside. I would highly recommend you contact your Area Resources Board and ask them if you can cut it out before you try it. In CA at least, it's a $1200 fine if you touch a catalytic convertor, hence I stil have mine intact .

anyways very happy with the results of project magnaflow, took longer and more money then expected for intallation but sounds soo damn nice. even though i have a v6 it kinda sounds like v8 (ie lex400sc's). took out the third resonator like u guys suggested and got 2.5s. the bass is wonderful and not ricey at all, worth every penny even if my mother doesnt agree! one problem: i pull up at lights and people wanna race me, i guess its got the sleeper look with stock everything and the magnaflows. like someone else said on this forum except in different words, no use in turnin on the radio or cd player anymore! first and second gear sound way too nice.
