Default It's ALIVE!!!! video inside

Hey guys, just wanted to take a second to post and update on the winter project. It's a bit ahead of schedule, which is going to make it very difficult to not drive it until all the salt is washed away

Here is short little video we took tonight of the initial start up and some revs

http://www.supraworld.com/mike/Its%20ALIVE.WMV

For the most part everything seemed to have worked without a hitch. Only issue is a small leak at the fuel pressure regulator fittings, and that's it! Larry (Sound Performance) had an AEM map for me that was just right to start her up. Definitely needs some tuning, but that will happen in the spring.

Here is a list of the mods to date that I've done
GTE swap (98 US Spec motor)
6spd swap
rps carbon clutch
stock tt flywheel
stock tt driveshaft, modified by Toyomoto to fit the SC
6spd diff
SP71gtq turbo kit
SP fuel system (850injectors, twin intank walbro's (LOUD!!))
AEM EMS
FJO Wideband
HKS Super Dragger soarer exhaust (single)
Blitz boost controller
Greddy gauges
Volk GT-U's (18x9, 18.10)

Next up some body and interior mods.

Chris

how much did the toyomoto driveshaft cost you??

is it reliable? I mean is it stretched somehow, or did they add another link to it???

thanks

Thanks for the comments guys.

I was so pumped about it last night, I had a hard time getting to sleep

Ken- toyomoto will fab the driveshaft for $300-$350, can't seem to remember. Lance basically extends the rear section and re-welds it together. As for reliability, we'll just have to wait and see I am a little concerned with it, but if it goes, I'll just have a one piece made instead.

Dew- I've got to see the pics of that GS!!!! Sounds like a sweet project.

That is great man!!! Makes me long for the day that mine is done (about a month or so now) I wish I had money for the Contoure body kit ... does ClubLexus have layaway? Perhaps Lex would like to trade it for the wheels I have for sale in the classified section
