sc 300
Hello
I am totallly lost , I managed to lock my keys, my only key in the trunk. Have called a locksmith paid him to open the car only to learn that the maunal unlocking of my car has trigered some type of security defoult and I am no longer granted acsess to my trunk via the trunk release lever on the interior.
I have spoken to upwards of twenty some lock smiths, they are clueless, the dealer says to get it towed to their shop and they will elecromnically fix.
I can;t possibly be the first mate to lockl his keys in the trunk, any ideas?
I havea 1997 sc300 5 speed

I got it,took some work though
in case anyone ever has this happen again.
first pull the driver door panel,
turn off the alarm
A pull the lock and cyklinder out, disconect the plastic solonoid
turn the solonoid with a flat head screw driver to trick the security system into thinking that the ley has turned it.
B disconect the wire harness leading to the door lock, there are three wires the yelllow nad black is the constant, use a paper clip to short the yellow and black connector with the green and yellow, this also tricks the security system into thinking that he key has been used.
second pulldriver dash, locate the trunk lock solonoid turn with a screwdriver as well,
viola the trunk release now works.
it only took me one and a hlf days to get that one.
thanks for your help
