n00b sc owner
well its not bad at all to me for a first car, a 1992 sc400, i think it is awesome for a first car. anyways the car has had ALL maintence done to it as its records show, and was babied, garaged, etc .... Its emerald green with leather [tan] interior. Is it still safe to add some nitrous to it? has about 103k miles on it. if i did decide to go with nitrous, what so you guys recommend on building up the engine first? [i dont want to go with your basic dry 50hp shot either]
Thanks for all your help and this car rocks, i love it, rides like a dream.

Welcome to CL , I have typed this phrase in the SC forums about 10,000 times in the last 10 minutes!!
Congrats on the new car. First thing is first .... there is no was to do N2O "safe". There are several precautions you can take to make it "safer" .... but ny no means safe. I have N2O on mine, however, I have a lot done to my car. Furthermore, I have come to terms with the fact that it will shorten the life of my motor, and can leave me stranded at any time. I would research A LOT before you do this. Happy Modding

As for the SC400, I dont have any experience with this car on nitrous. Im sure someone else can chime in here. Actually Todd from TM had a pretty crazy NOS setup on his SC. Good luck and welcome to the board.
