Default Yet another sc noob

G'day all,
Just picked up a 93 SC300 a couple weeks back, been lurking on the boards for a while, thought i'd say what up. I was driving a 95 bronco that was a lot of fun, but was falling apart and I really missed shifting gears and being able to accelerate. I set out to find a new car, was looking at a 96 328is that was pretty nice but I had owned one of them before and kinda wanted to try something new. I was looking for a car that was stick, RWD, and semi sporty...I spied the SC buried in the back of the lot and thought to myself "hmm I think they made them in stick" and sure enough it was, so here I am.

I just love this car! Drives great, nice interior, great reliability. Only gripes are its a bit too classy looking (but I guess that's not really a bad thing) and the motor needs some more low end torque. Picks up great once it hits the powerband, I guess I'm just spoiled (my other car is a mustang GT). I keep telling myself that I'm gonna leave this thing alone and not modify it into oblivion as I tend to do with my cars, but we'll see. The headlights are terrible so I'm considering a HID kit, and possibly a turbo or two to help get it a bit closer to the speed I'm used to. SO, I look forward to wasting lots of time on here, you guys have a nice site going and I've already learned quite a bit.

Cheers,

Adam

Haha thanks guys. I've been on mustang boards for years, so i've already made judicious use of the search function here and have learned quite a bit. I've also read the faq's at intellexual about a thousand times, great stuff in there. As far as modding, I've never left a car of mine stock, so i'm sure something will be done to it. Only thing keeping me from doing it is money, and thats probably not gonna change for a while so we'll see.
