Default I Got It!!!!!

i finally got it. well, i just put a downpayment for it. its a 92 white sc300 5 speed. got it for 5500. the interior and exterior is still brand new. the engine drove good but for some reason it feels like my dads 95 sc300 pulls harder off the line then the 5 speed. i will post pics up once i learn how to. i hope to be learning new stuff from you all. later

thats about it for now. its all stock . the car is a 92 and is flawless. the paint is in excellent condition and so is the interior. the only problem i have noticed are that when i start the car and turn the headlights on, a rattling noise comes from the engine. and also when i shift, it there is "thump" from the tranny. I havent check the tranny fluid yet. other then that the car is nice. Saving up for my 19's which will take a LONG time. I dont know ifi want to turbo the car or just make it look nice since it IS a luxury car. What do you all recomend. sorry for the long post.

very nice, how many miles?

also, jack/ramp up the car and check the tranny fluid, and just for the hell of it, change it with redline tranny fluid. its soooooo easy, or atleast it is on my manual Tercel

also, dont get the 19"s until you're car runs perfectly, keep your priorities straight

again, nice car and have a nice day

what kind of redline tranny fluid?. is there a specific type?.. the car has 117K on the motor. still runs good but my fathers 95 sc300 auto feels like it runs faster. Im saving up on the side for the rims. going to lower it first. i cant stand driving a car thats isnt lowered. thats just me.

i can't stand driving one that IS lowered, but i do.... (sometimes).

I just bought 2 of them, one lowered, one stock. as i told one member a few weeks ago, that car will look great..... on the side of the road with your new wheels and drop kit.

Maintainence first!

Good looking car.

Yeah the redline fluid that you need is the MT90 fluid, and you need 2.7 quarts of it

go to www.myoilshop.com and enter in 675421 at the checkout or whatever to get 10% off

no prob

and remember, open the fill plug, then the drain plug and drain it out, put the drain plug back on, and PUMP the fluid into the fill hole. so you do need to buy a good pump, you can easily get one for $5 or less
