Have had my sc for a little over 2 years now and was gonna do a tune up but i was thinking of throwing in an lsd while im at it. Wanted to lay out my options and their pros and cons.

What were you looking at?

I put in the 1.5 way OS Giken and kept the stock gear ratio and it's great with no problems whatsoever. Can't really think of any cons, it's definitely an improvement over the stock open differential.

Personally I am a Torsen guy. Torsens don't need any maintenance, never wear out, and just work for most applications.

For high horsepower a clutch type will be smoother but on a chassis like the SC I would guess that would be 450+ whp and below that a Torsen will still kick ***.
