Default Clanking noise when going over bumps..???

I posted in the suspension section with no replies.. My older 92sc300 seems to have some suspension issues because when i go over speed bumps or the car goes up and down quickly while driving it sounds like a clanking or bottoming out sound coming from both the front and rear tire wells????
Is this the control arms or something else? How much to replace or repair??
Thanks guys

yeah i would have it checked out by a mechanic but it would either be your bushings or your control arms.....strange that you posted this cuz my ls does the same and it is in fact the control arms but my mechanic friend had the same prob w/ his ls and he drilled a hole in the ball joint i think? and put in some grease filler and its like brand new, no squeaking, squishing sounds, nothing. and cost 60 cents for 2 grease fillings (from hardware store) and one hour to do. sure beats 400+ for control arms plus labor???, but if it is the control arms, and your going to change them go w/ carson toyota, they were much cheaper then a lexus dealer.

hope this helped
