A/C cluster bulb - Final consensus
Looks like I've come across the threads here a little too late. I took my '92 SC400, which has 40K miles (I think I must have the lowest mileage '92 SC in here) into Lexus to get the A/C cluster bulbs replaced.
Well they replaced the bulbs with P/N 84999-10320, and it is about 50% of the intensity it should be. The dealer admits that they @#$ up, so they are willing to research which are the correct bulbs to use. Haven't heard back from them yet. Going through the threads, it doesn't appear that you can get the original OEM bulbs from Lexus...
I would appreciate it if someone could give me a P/N for the original bulbs (if they exist), or if O.L.T. would sell me the bulbs he uses so my cluster will look stock.
Kind Regards,
Ryan
I had already read that thread. But it appears that the LX 84999-60360 bulbs used by the other Ryan, were the wrong P/N, and resulted in a bulb that was 75% of the OEM brightness. There is a reference to the Denso bulbs by Taka, but I do not think that these are available at Lexus.
Best Regards,
Ryan
