Default Door Hinges

Hello all, noticed this the other day, pin in my driver's door hinge looks like its "rising". Can I just push it back down or I am going to break something lol?

Normal one for comparison

In case no one chimes in with an answer... Here's a thread I bookmarked from a few years ago:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...elf-parts.html

If that doesn't help, there is, or at least used to be, someone in Australia who rebuilds the SC/Soarer door hinges. If you search for that contact info, he would surely know the answer.

Interesting threat about the hinges. The guy that chimed in with the OEM hinge photos is on facebook. I think he is Australian and he rebuilds the hinges better than OEM. He isn't cheap, but he does it the best way possible.

Well, that makes finding him easy! I didn't realize he had posted in that thread.

Man, my driver side door is starting to drop, assuming this is the issue. Picked up some spare hinges at the salvage yard. Will try this.

Daryl in Australia did mine long ago, they're still holding up. I wrote up my replacement procedure.
