Default anyone know where this goes?

I recently did a timing belt and water pump job on my 93 sc400. I was finishing up and I noticed I had this stud left over. Took it apart again and still can’t figure it out any help would be amazing!

If i remember correctly, there are 2 types of waterpumps that can go on these cars, once have 11 bolts/holes, others have 10. looks like you ended up converting from 11 to 10 lol. (i may be misremembering the number). Not sure if it will cause an issue or not, when i was getting mine done, i asked my mechanic to tell me how many it had so i got the right one.

I just went and cross referenced this with my old pump, seems to be the exact same pump. Same bolt holes, and company etc. I am at the point of no ****ing clue where this goes should I just send it?

Looks like it may be the A/C compressor bracket stud or alternator lower mounting stud

Alternator doesn’t have a lower mounting stud? Just a stud up top of it to put the nut on then a bolt on the bottom?

Is the nut 14mm or 12mm?

A 14 mm ones go on the power steering pump bracket.

I'm right in the middle of doing my water pump as well. However my accessory belt tensioner cracked on me.
