Hey all, finally got my 1jz gte vvti swap in my 1992 sc400 to turn on and even move under its own power. but there is one big issue, with my maf sensor plugged in it sounds like the car has an aggressive cam and even sounds like a rotary car and even blows a good amount of smoke out of the exhaust which i assume is from running rich. But with the maf unplugged it sounds like the most perfect 1j idle and doesn’t smoke, why is this happening? the cars completely stock and the maf im using is a brand new sc300 maf is that probably the issue? or maybe there’s a vacuum leak somewhere?
