Default Sticky calipers

As the title explains, I am having an issue with my brakes after installing coilovers on the front. A few weeks ago I installed new brakes and calipers on my SC and everything was working smoothly till yesterday I installed my coilovers. After I put everything back together I noticed a grinding noise coming from the left front side of the car so I pulled over quickly to avoid further damage. I took the wheels off and tried to spin the Rotors and I noticed the brake pads are grabbing on and not releasing when the brake is not pressed. I tried to remove the pads off and push back the pistons but they were super stiff. So I checked on the brake fluid reservoir and it was filled to the top. My question is how do I release the tension on the calipers and let the piston return? Should I empty out some fluid? I might have made few rookie mistakes while installing my brakes. Is there a bleeder valve somewhere? Or do I need to replace the entire brake system? It is only happening on the left side

Need more info, how many miles on your car? Have you ever replaced/bled the brake fluid before? What was the source of the grinding noise? You might need a new caliper or perhaps the slide pins have seized up.

Post a few pics they would be very helpful.

1992 sc400 with 152000 miles I have never replaced the brake fluid as I have only owned the car for few months but from the record book it looks like the previous owner kept it well maintained at the dealership. the grinding noise was coming from the brake pads sticking on the rotors and not releasing. The slide pins look okay and well lubricated. I will post pics up soon.

What does the brake fluid look like? Seized calipers happen, but even if they are seized the brakes shouldn't make a grinding noise unless there is something else wrong like chewed up rotors.

fluid looks clean. Rotors are brand new and so are the brakes. It’s making the noise because the caliper is pushing on the pads and is not releasing. I just need to know how I can release that pressure without damaging anything

ISSUE RESOLVED!
hey thank you for taking your time to respond to my question. I found what was causing the grinding noise. Turns out it had noting to do with the brake or calipers. It was the dust cover that sits behind the rotors. It was rubbing against the bottom of the rotors. When I was jacking up the control arms to keep a support on the rotors I accidentally pinched the dust cover and ended up bending it. Lucky all I had to do was use a pliers and bend it back. Glad I didn’t have any brake related issue.
