Too Hot to Handle
Question is: do the folks in Arizona and Texas deal with this everyday? It was only 90 here during the day. They have temps MUCH higher on an ongoing basis.

For what it's worth, we've had multiple 90+F days in NJ this summer, and our white RZ is usually parked outside, so it bakes to an even higher temperature.
I've never had a problem getting it to start charging on any of those days.
Perhaps there was an issue with your L2 charger?
That is not accurate.
RZ's battery's temperature is managed via the cooling system for its battery pack (same as for 95+% of the EVs out there), ensuring optimal performance and longevity. In cold weather, RZ's system relies on HVAC heater to help warm the battery and ensure it can accept a charge.
If the battery was overheating before you parked, you would have gotten error codes to that effect.
Either way, you can run this by the dealer and have them scan for historical error codes. Or you can do it yourself with an ODB2 scanner.
I doubt they will find anything. I would look into the charger first.

You might have a charging schedule setup in the application.
Check that.
