My parents bought their RZ a few months ago and they don't have the SoC (State of Charge) indicated on the instrument cluster screen. Ours does. I told them to get their software updated but the dealer advised there is no update.

I will compare the software versions, but the page on the updates screen is incredibly long. Maybe our week-old RZ has an update from the factory that dealers aren't rolling out yet? Any insight would be welcome as I definitely want my parents to have the SoC reading as well.

Also, the dealer wasn't able to confirm, but does the RZ have OTA software updates as well?

From what I’ve read on various forums the update that the Toyota and Subaru got is headed for the Lexus. There’s a report in ClubLexus UK that it is expected in Dec, so I would guess that ours should arrive around that time as well. Yours came from the dealer with it already installed.

Yes, the RZ is capable of doing OTA updates, but this one will require a trip to the dealer.
