Need RX300 cylinder heads!!!!
New to this forum and I only got on here to look for some heads for our 99 RX300. It was a sludge motor and it got starved of oil wiping out #5 rod bearings and cam journals. I work for Lexus of Seattle in Lynnwood and I got an oil consumption '03 short block that was going to be thrown away. I replaced the rings in it, washed and cleaned up the block to prep for swapping out short blocks. When I removed the cam journal caps to gain access to the head bolts, that's when I noticed that the front 3 cam journals on all 4 cams were shot. k, let me rephrase this....I'm looking for USED heads for my '03 RX 300 motor. I checked out the Sumit Racing website and didn't find anything for Lexus. Besides, I wouldn't pay the prices they want for a new head. I found one used head on Ebay for $125, but it's in South Dakota!!
