I have leather seat bottoms if anyone has bad leather...
Hey guys/gals. I would have posted this in the FS section of clublexus but it doesn't seem like anyone looks over there lol. I thought i would get more traffic and be able to help out better posting here. So please don't move me
I recently purchased a whole set of coach leather seats for my 03 rx300 and i have all the parts from my original seats. I've decided instead of selling the WHOLE seats (which weigh more than i do..) i would sell piece by piece.
I know many rx300 owners have really bad leather, cracked, faded, ripped etc just from age. I managed to remove the drivers seat bottoms and i can sell them to you if anyone's interested. They're in perfect condition in the TAN color. No rips, tears... you guys know how meticulous i am about my leather. Always treated with leatherique to keep them nice and soft. I will post pics if you're interested.
It takes about 10 mins to install if you can remove the plastic side skirts. Just 4 bolts and 2 plugs that connect them to the seat frame.
I have the drivers side and passengers side seat bottoms. Heated seat elements included and working 100%.
I also have both front headrests and armrests, all in basically perfect condition.
Will fit any 99-03 rx300 with the tan interior. Heated seats or not.
They're going up on ebay if no one seems to want them here. Just thought i'd give you guys the heads up and a better offer first since we're all members!
Please let me know if you want them. Seat bottoms $50 each, armrests $25 each, headrests also $25 each. Plus shipping.
Thanks and i hope they can help someone out

Interesting. But my major wear is on the drivers-side seat-back
I've been looking at using Leatherique, but they haven't been getting back to me on whether or not they have a color match dye for our Ivory (shade 375). I guess you haven't had need of the Leatherique dye. Do you have a 1"x1" sample of the leather I could buy in order to send Leatherique?
Are you not selling the seat back because it doesn't easily come off, like the seat bottom and arm-rest?

bob220, i know leatherique can match any color just as long as you give them a sample. I'm sure they've mixed the color for the rx300 tan (ivory #375) before but they refuse to just mix another batch and sell it to you because they claim 'colors age' and it still might not be perfect. The only way theyll mix it for you is if you send them the 1x1 inch square as a sample. I've never used the leatherique dye, only the rejuvenation oil and pristine clean to clean/condition the leather. I ruined the rear seat headrests on my rx300, so i can cut you a sample piece of the leather if you want.
I would sell you the driver seat back, but i can't seem to figure out how to remove it from the frame lol. It's not as simple as the bottoms. If i can figure something out, i'll let you know. If you want it still attached to the frame i can sell it to you, but i'm sure shipping would be near $100... I'll see if i can get it dis attached somehow.
Nevertheless here's a couple pics of the drivers seat back. In the same great condition as the rest. I have the pass back as well
