Default RX navi override?

Hi Guys,
I am new in this forum. I recently bought an RX-350 year 2011 with Navi on it. However, after I bought this car I noticed that I can not change anything on Navi system while I am driving. I did some research, and I know that there is a way to cut a wire (permanently or temporary with a switch) to disable this function. Can anybody help me of where I can find the instruction for this work please? Thanks.

There is a guy Tommy in S. El Monte Ca, who can fix it by putting an extra override button.

Hi Bill, there is actually a plug and play solution to this if you decide you want to avoid cutting your factory wires. Here is the link to the product: http://www.beatsonicusa.com/beat-son...ss-module.html

Please let me know if you have any questions on the product. I am here to answer all your questions.

you can go with beatsonic, or prestigious society link: http://www.prestigioussociety.com/?page_id=138.

beatsonic wins hands down on pricing; so if value is what you want, go with beatsonic. but ps button module looks more refined but you pay more money. either way, both choices will work at overriding navi. question to ask is whether paying more for better looking button is worth it to you.

I went with The Prestigious Society "plug and play" Navigation and Video Enhancement Module http://www.prestigioussociety.com/?page_id=138. I discussed pricing and warranty with Mark at PS. he can be reached at dealer@prestigioussociety.com .

I had local authorized dealer do install as I did not trust myself removing dash and wire harness. All I have external is two push-button switch. Used free space from option area I apparently did not buy from Lexus.

The unit now gives me and passenger capability to use NAV system and phone book while RX350 is in motion.

Which local installer did you use?
How did the install go?
Can you give me an idea of the install cost.
I would not attempt to install this myself if it entailed removing the dashboard.
