Default My first mod - no more amber blinkers

Today I swapped out the yellow amber blinker bulbs with the Phillips SilverVision bulbs. They are silver in color but blink amber. I'm quite happy with the results. You can see a little bit of amber still on the rear at certain angles but it's much less noticeable than the stock bulb. Sorry if this mod has already been posted.

I have these bulbs too, but haven't installed yet.
The rear bulbs install looks fairly simple, but not sure I want to deal w/the washer fluid & coolant reservoirs to get at the front bulbs . . .

TR3XX, look very nice. I might consider changing the front bulbs so all the lights look the same. The rear, I'm not sure. I might need another picture to see the difference. Thanks for sharing.

Perfect timing, I just finished the interior bulbs. Cargo area LEDs came in today. Good news, they fit, sort of. I'm waiting until dark to see how they look.

I like the mod very much and just bought the same bulbs.
How's the install?

I like the look. See what you started. I think I will do at least the rear. Cleans up the look.

The front is quite easy, all that's needed is remove the bolt holding the reservoir. It took me less than 15 minutes for both sides.

I'll try and take some pictures tomorrow now that it stopped raining. You can barely see any yellow on the rear when it's out in the sun.

haha, it's really not my fault. I blame it on Tiggerr, Joeb427 and kitlz, they started it with the LEDs

Tran, I received the bulbs today and changed out the rear blinker bulbs. It is definitely an improvement - matches the others minus the orange glow when off. But I ran into a problem in the front. The SilverVision doesn't fit Below is a picture of both, OE on the left, SilverVision on the right. Did your OE bulb look like mine? The manual lists the same bulb size for the front and rear

On the plus side, all of the bulbs including the LEDs are easy to get to

The light output might be a little brighter. The color is definitely similar. I'd describe it as more as yellowish orange, same as the others. To test it, I turned on the hazard lights and walked around. I couldn't tell any difference. I will put one of the old bulbs in tomorrow to do a cross check. Now if I can only figure out how to change out the front. It would be pretty awesome to have three 'white' lights.

Where did you guys get your bulbs and how much did you pay? I have been looking around and they seem to be a little pricey and not readily available.

Thnx

I got mine from eBay too. The company is MotiveMods. I bought the last two they listed but you can get it from their site too.

To lose the amber in the back is worth the price Installation is very easy. Now if I can only figure out the front bulbs
