My thinking was to use something that could displace the pressure. I didn't want to crack/chip anything which basically eliminated metal tools. The Lexus pry tool Joeb and I bought was way too big. I had another set that didn't work either. I went to Home Depot and Radio Shack, nothing. It took a few cards before I found one thin and flexible enough. I wonder if this qualifies as unauthorized use of the card

Bullet has been bitten. I found 4 bulbs for $43 delivered. I will disclose the source if and when I get them. They are coming from the UK.

More sound deadening comes Monday. Anybody want pictures of the front interior disassembled?

MEP, awesome find for $10 less. I've seen them on the UK sites. Didn't price them out though figuring it would be crazy expensive to ship.

Good luck with surgery tomorrow ,)

Well, I thought it was to good to be true. They refunded my money this AM and said they weren't sure if Philips was going to continue to make those bulbs. Guess I better grab them while I can.

I tried.

OK Once in a while due diligence pays off. I found the bulbs on line for $34.98 delivered for 4 of them. They came today so it was no dream. They look great, they are not the Phillips as you can see from the picture but, they do the same thing. There is absolutely no visible yellow when they are off and the 'on' color is the same. Here is the link. http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/ They took about 10 days to come.

LED back-ups are next, waiting for them to arrive.

I have chrome bulbs for the front blinkers coming in tomorrow since WY21W do not fit. I'm not sure if it's a 450h or an LED thing. I hope they look as good as MEP's. The plan is to install them this weekend along with the reverse bulbs. They're on the way too.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. I'm still on the fence about the reverse light. They look really cool but I'm trying to convince myself on spending the $ on them.

The reverse lights should be here tomorrow. I can't wait to get them installed. As for the chrome front blinkers, I don't think it's meant to be. The new bulbs don't fit because of the tabs on the side. Now I have a fast blinker on the side I tried, will pull the OE bulb again to see what happened. I am not having luck

Reverse lights are in. Nice and super bright Thanks Tran for sharing.

FYI, the front blinker bulb size on my 450h is 3457. My installer said I could use 3157. The bulbs I received the other day were the wrong size. They looked pretty crappy anyway. SilverVisions aren't available in 3157 so I went with Stealth. If these don't work, I swear I'm giving up

Here are a few pictures. The first shows the OE front blinker and the SilverVision bulb, both WY21W. The second picture is a close up of the OE front blinker bulb. I'm not sure why the manual lists both blinkers as WY21W when they're not.

Default Front blinkers done!

I finally changed out the front blinkers with the right bulbs. No more amber with the LEDs I got the bulbs from Stealth and they look more chrome than the SilverVisions. A little pricey but worth it. It'll look even better when the new fog lights are in.

Sad to say the 5K H11 V-HIDS from V-LEDs didn't do it for me. They are crystal white as advertised but too yellow next to the 6K I have in now. The passenger side ballast was replaced. Probably fell victim to all the salt and shorted out. Fortunately it was under warranty I will be going back to my installer to have the driver side checked.

The Stealth bulbs and reverse lights are working fine. No complaints at all. The only other item on the list, and it's a maybe, are the illuminated sills. Not sure if I want to go with blue or white I know blue is for the hybrid but white would match the LED interior lights. Otherwise I'm done for now, until somebody else comes up with another must do mod
